Gravitas Talk with Mag. Beatrix Praeceptor, Chief Procurement Officer Mondi Group and Dr. Peter Hinteregger, Head of Region EMEA Siemens AG, to the topic „Procurement in Change…What do successful corporations need in the future?“

With the title „Procurement in Change… What do successful corporations need in the future?“ a „Fireplace Chat“ took place with Mag. Beatrix Praeceptor, Chief Procurement Officer Mondi Group and Dr. Peter Hinteregger, Head of Region EMEA Siemens AG in the Mondi Headquarter in January 17th.

After a welcome speech of Karoly Pataki, CEO Gravitas, Mag. Praeceptor and Dr. Hinteregger presented in their keynote speech the challenges of the Supply Chain Management of big corporations. Both managers gave us interesting insights into the daily business of Heads of Group Procurement, and into the strategic discussions about the utilization of new technologies (digitalization, blockchain, AI) in Supply Chain Management.
Talking about the question, „Are the Supply Chain Managers the better CEOs of the future?“, the audience focused on the professional education and on the competence requirements of future Supply Chain Managers.

Afterwards C-level Managers and experts of corporations from diverse sectors of the economy exchanged their views and experiences regarding „Purchasing” and “Supply Chain Management”.
